Weekend Update!

Thing weekend was fun of fun. Friday night after a long day @ work, I ministered at my school's Haitian Benefit Concert. It was a wonderful event. There were many acts that performed, Christian and non Christian, but God was able to show himself strong, through the ministry. People were really feeling the music and most of all got the message.

Saturday, I headed out to Philly with my boy Clevonne, as we had a studio session with my man Ronin. We created some heat. After four hours of work we created a nice banger called, "Aliens" that will be on facebook, myspace in about a month or so. After our session we went over the studio A, where, producer, "Boots"(drummer for Pharrel, Producer for Prayz1, Twyse) was in there creating some classic heat. After vibing for a minute, spitting a little, bit he laced me with a couple joints to rock on. He is fire. Later that night, I ministered at the Gospel Poetry Slam, hosted by my main girl Zion. It was nice. It wasnt the biggest turnout due to the snow that Philly received on that day. My bro's Trini the Professor (2009 McDonalds Gospel Fest Champion for Poetry)and my brother Godsent. Two amazing poets. Also, got the privilege again to see a powerful brother, Jaycen Moody, who has a powerful testimony as well as a wonderful gift for poetry. He recently released his book entitled, "From the Crack House, to the House of God" That's a crazy name for a title, so the book definitely has to be popping. I picked up a copy, so I will let you know.

Sunday, I was honored to minister at my brother Alan's 21st Birthday celebration. My brother B-Luv also was one who was able to come though and show love. It was amazing. I was blessed to see how many people came out to show love to a wonderful man of God. Alan is just a testament of what is means to be Godly. He is a strong rooted young man, who makes it his mission to win the lost and love Christ with all of his heart. Glad to be there.

There you have it a weekend update. I'll keep you posted on the current weekend, some new projects I'm working on and some new music. I'm grinding, you should try it! Taste and see that the Lord is good!

God Bless

The Wedding SInger
